about

Heimdallr blows Gjallarhorn is a track about Heimdall, the guardian god who blows his special horn to warn the gods from danger. By doing so he announces that Ragnarok begins.

As all the other tracks from the Urðarbrunnr album, it is sang in Old Norse and contains authentic texts from Poetic Edda.

lyrics

Leika Míms synir, en mjötuðr kyndisk
at inu galla Gjallarhorni;
hátt blæss Heimdallr, horn er á lofti,
mælir Óðinn við Míms höfuð.
